Adding color to my icons has come to an end. Incorporating color was a more difficult task than I thought out to be. Once I began to connect connotations from my color swatches to the colors used for my icons, I began to understand why color is important not only at first glance, but conceptually with deeper meaning as well. My final icons are found in the image below. They associate themselves with (from right to left) serene, cool, comfort; natural, rough, old; earthy, natural, aged which fits my story, Vision Quest.
