In the video below, Paula Scher talks about how living in New York inspires her as a designer. In the current completed project, resulting in a 21 page accordion book, I have used the surrounding of the city I live in, Kansas City, Missouri, to take photography and pair them with generated line studies to make juxtapositions. Kansas City has many wonderful structures and pleasant little places that I had never visited before. I have no grown to be able to see lines everywhere. A blessing or curse? Both.
