Week 3 Reading Response

Text is an important element to anything you do; surfing the web, creating direction, sharing information, etc. Just because there is type doesn't mean that it works as well as pictures or icons, which create a universal language. Being able to infuse the two – type and a universal language – was used by Dada and Futurist poets to show expression in a typographical, literal sense but then also paired with visual streams and emotion to reinforce the content. All this content can also be shared in many forms to be shared with others. Items can also be shared just as fast with the technology we have today. Mass production is easier than it used to be which makes sharing and trade a lot easier to control.
